AgileCloud to leverage Splunk

AgileCLOUD (still in stealth) has decided to add Splunk to its Cloud Computing platform to enhance the manageability of its cloud infrastructure.

Splunk is an excellent open source firm, co-founded Michael Baum.
Look only for better and great things from Splunk and M.B. in the very near future.

Here is the description of the Cloud Computing Service...

AgileCloud is an scalable agile Web2.x/Cloud infrastructure with time-market solutions for Enterprise, Service Providers, SMB and Global Outsourcing Development.

AgileCloud leverages EC2 and AppEngine to provide a multi-tiered hosting environment with pre-built images for load balancers, database servers, and application servers.

By pre-building agility and elasticity, now users can (almost)"automagically" instantiate each type of server to use as nodes in their server farm or customize a generic base image for any number of purposes.

AgileCloud has customized GroundWork/Hyperic/XMPP to monitor, manage and maintain the server(cloud) farm by reconfiguring the entire cluster when servers fail or when new servers/instances are inserted. Enabling you to build loyalty and reduce churn. With AgileCloud services you will "scale out" based upon SLA and/or quickly enable it as disaster recovery and business continuity platform to replace failed machines or down service.

AgileCloud offers:
1- Manage Cloud computing (eC2/S3 and AppEngine) and virtualized servers Monitoring.
2- Global Service LoadBalancing
3- Active FOS (FailOver System)
4- Dynamic-DNS
5- Backup-Service (Enterprise, SMB, Personal-PC/Mobile) storage
6- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery
7- SocialMedia / Social Network / Web2.x Elastic Computing Hosting
8- Media Content Transformation / Distribution
9- Amazon, Google and AgilePAY Micropayment
10- Secure On-Demand Distributed (outsource) Development Platform
11- On-Demand VoIP2.x Infrastructure

DatR (http://DatR.ws) is the first Web2.x firm to make use of AgileCLOUD infrastructure and they have partnered with GPro (http://Gpro.ws) to provide Advance Professional (Cloud Computing) Service.
